Focus on IDD in Europe in new IDD Newsletter

Many find it surprising that IDD persists in Europe given the modern salt industry that services much of that market and the relative affluence of regional economies.  But persist it does as explained in the August 2008 issue of IDD Newsletter.

Other articles in the issue explore the huge benefit-cost advantages of iodized salt, revisit the question of excess dietary iodine and check the progress of efforts in central Asia, specificaly Kyrgyzstan and Tibet.
