It's official: bread "Down Under" now uses iodized salt

Bakers in Australia and New Zealand are now required to use iodized salt under Food Standards Agency of Australia New Zealand (FSANZ) regulations.  The regulation extends the requirement that retail food salt be iodized and was needed because more and more meals were being prepared outside the home where non-iodized salt is commonplace.
