Jordan announced a new 9-year plan to expand key nutrition programs, the Jordan Times reports. The 2010-2019 National Nutritional Plan "aims to reduce the prevalence and burden of diet-related diseases by expanding existing health programs and implementing new ones," Health ministry officials said. The strategy also seeks to iodize table salt.
