What is ICCIDD?
The International Council for the Control of Iodine Deficiency Disorders
is a non-profit, non-government organization for the sustainable elimination of iodine deficiency and the promotion of optimal iodine nutrition worldwide.

With the world's largest population, fifteen years ago, China also represented the world's most severe IDD challenge.  Strong and effective leadership has moved China from the world's biggest problem to a shining example of what can be achieved with a strong national coalition.
