Each of us is unique. We have different personal, family and job commitments. We are a bundle of talents, compassion and conflicting commitments in our lives. Effective campaigns against IDD require us to pool our talents and resources. Consider the example reported by the New York Times.
ICCIDD is dedicated solely to meeting the challenge of IDD, but many other organizations -- governments, community organizations and salt and food producers -- are active and effective partners in these efforts. Some have provided financial support for ICCIDD; others have contributed energy and expertise. ICCIDD is a proud participant in The Network for the Sustained Elimination of Iodine Deficiency which maintains a good list to help identify others enlisted in the battle against IDD.
